Teaching learning resources in education

In this blog I will be writing about Finland's education system and what it makes to be the most successful education system in the world. After reading the characteristics of education system of Finland, we can clearly identify the reasons of there success. we can also compare the differences between them and our own education system here in India. Education is free of cost and equal to all students; this is the basic principle of education system of Finland. Children go to school at the age of 7 years for their basic education. 99% students’ study in government school. There is no space for private schools and coaching also.  Mid-day meal is provided to all the students. There will always be a huge gap between the things that teachers want to impart to their student and the things that students want to know from them. The connection that will let the two meet is the relevance of the lesson with the students lives.  Engaging activities that stimulate active learning is proven to be the best method teachers use to provide a long term understanding. Here are some benefits of using these resources in teaching:- 1.   For someone who is a product of traditional   Indian education system, it is difficult to believe that there is   paradigm shift in teaching landscape. From the pen and paper to teaching online, we have come   a long way . Not just the medium of teaching, but even learning resources saw that incredible shift. For Most of us millennials, school prescribed textbooks and board prescribed digests were only source of course material. The problem with this traditional approach was that updating of syllabus, the world changes at incredible speed but the schools syllabus is not able to keep up. A must change for learning:- Traditionally teachers hold the responsibility of instructions of learning but now even learner should shares the responsibility of instructions of learning, by that i wanted to say only teachers will not decide what to teach and how to teach it is also depending on students how they will learn.  If a teacher wanted to start a new lesson or chapter he should ask his students about the prior knowledge related to that topic and then accordingly he/she should decide the instruction plan or we can say the way of teaching.
